HARAREnewretroarcadeneon, June 17 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people died Sunday night in Rusapenewretroarcadeneon, a town in Manicaland Province, after a bus carrying passengers from a church festival caught fire, state broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation said on Monday.

Fourteen others, three of whom were in critical condition, have been hospitalized, the broadcaster said, quoting National Shrines Chairperson of the Anglican Church Edwin Selemani.

Zimbabwean Police Spokesperson Paul Nyathi told Xinhua Monday morning that he is heading for the scene of the tragedy and would give more details later.■
