WTI futures fell more than 6.84% this week, the largest weekly decline in three months. On April 12, the futures price once reached US$86.97 a barrel during intraday trading.

Brent crude oil futures for July delivery fell 71 cents, or 0.85%, to close at $82.96 a barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange. Brent crude oil futures fell more than 7% this week.
